I wanted to take a moment and convey my level of satisfaction with your firm in general and one member of your staff in particular.

I have spent the last 17 months researching an anticipated purchase of a GPS system. Having used the Never Lost system when I rented Hertz automobiles, I was interested in getting a system that would work at least as well. During that 17 months I pulled information from dozens of sites ranging from educational sources detailing the GPS technology all with way to the Magellan and Garmin corporate sites. Then after what seemed like my 1,000th Google search I ran across your site.

For the next couple of days I wormed my way through the majority of available pages and came to one conclusion, "these guys know what they are doing." Additionally the fact that this is all you do, made your credibility even higher. I was convinced that I wanted to go with a Magellan system and was pleased to find a portable version of the 750 and a great price. The next step was to ask a few questions concerning current releases, consumer use, etc. I was prepared to try and wrestle with a "techo-geek" to attempt to get a clear set of answers to my questions, so I called your office.

Not only did I not have to wait on hold for lifetime, but I got an actual person, with a personality AND in-depth product knowledge. For the next 20 minutes or so I asked everything from the pedestrian to the mildly technical, and this person handled each and every one of my questions flawlessly. It was at this moment I knew I was going to pull the trigger and make my purchase. Because of her skill, patience, perception and personality, there was no need for a second or third call to make up my mind. When you consider the price tag, this was not an impulse purchase and the person on the other end of the phone seemed to understand this, and never even gave a hint of telling me to call back or indicate her frustration. She was the consummate pro. Who is this person? I only know her first name. Mercedes.

She made such an impression that two weeks later, when I had a couple of follow-up questions prior to a trip I was planning, I remembered her name. Once again I called, got a live body, asked for her and there she was. Even though the sale was over and she probably needed to move on to the next potential customer, she took time to answer my two questions and then offered several great suggestions.

In a business environment where you typically only hear about the "customer disappointments", I wanted you to know that in addition to selling a superior product, that was setup and delivered perfectly, you also have at least one, amazing customer service / sales professional. In the next couple of months I plan to order a couple of the 750NAV-M units for my department. You can count on those P.O.s going to your organization.
