The Magellan RoadMate 300 contains many of the easy-to-use features of the Magellan RoadMate 700. It comes with a pre-loaded map of the major roads of the United States and Canada for coast-to-coast navigation. Navigating to a specific address or point of interest is made simple by downloading detailed street-level maps from the included fully-unlocked CDs.

• Accurate positioning to within 3 meters. TrueFix™ technology takes advantage of 14 parallel GPS channels enhanced by the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS).
   
• Up to 110MB of maps on the unit’s internal memory, including pre-installed maps of the major roads of North America, providing straight line routing to the nearest major road, out of the box
   
  • Route to addresses or points of interest by downloading detailed maps from the included CDs, which contain up-to-date detailed, fully unlocked maps of the 48 contiguous United States, full Canada coverage and Hawaii and Puerto Rico
     
• The Magellan RoadMate Manager PC Application makes downloading detailed, customized street maps easy. Users can create maps for the regions they travel to most often and save them to the unit’s available memory or any number of Secure Digital (SD) memory cards (sold separately)
   
• Just under 2 Million points of interest (POI) in up to 40 categories
   
  • Locate and route to the POI nearest your current location, selected city center or airport
     
• Create and save up to 600 addresses. Programmable for up to 3 different users. Each may enter up to 200 addresses.

• Record up to a total of 30 tracks with up to 2000 points each. View them on the go or play them back on the PC thanks to the Magellan RoadMate Manager.
