• Monitor vehicle’s speed and if the vehicle exceeds a preset speed limit a notification will be issued.
• Customer can unlock their vehicle’s power door locks if they are locked out or lock them if the vehicle is left unlocked.
• Should a customer’s vehicle be difficult to locate in a parking facility, the car’s horns and lights can be activated to assist in its location from a phone.
• AEGIS can be triggered in the event of a theft even without an alarm system.
• A phone or the Internet can activate any remote engine starter.
• Customer’s vehicle can be located verbally by phone and on a map at any time via the Internet.
• Customer alerted of any feature via telephone, e-mail, display pager or fax.
• Arm or disarm the vehicle’s security system.
• Notify customer when vehicle’s security system has been triggered.
• Notify if customer’s vehicle is towed.
• Extended-Life Back-up battery provides three days of tracking and three years of shelf life. Automatic Accident Notification (ACN) in the event of a traffic collision. Each month VLU is automatically tested at no charge and if after three attempts the vehicle does not respond the customer is notified.
