 1] Enhanced Points of Interest (POI) - Over 15 million points of interest listed in 132 different categories to choose from. The older version 4.0.0.17 POI software only includes approximately 700,000 POI’s in 44 different categories.
2] Selectable restaurant searches in POI option: Select restaurant types by cuisine, there are 48 different cuisine types to choose from. Simply select one of the 48 different category options such as: Chinese, Mexican, Steak house, Vegetarian, Sea Food, Fast food etc. Now the Magellan 750Nav/M Plus will allow customers the option of routing to their favorite restaurants closest to them by the cuisine type of their choice.
3] GPS acquisition signal availability indicator is displayed on the bottom of 750Nav/M screen. When the GPS signal is acquired and available, routes can be calculated, and the unit can route correctly. This feature helps user’s determine if GPS satellite signals are available for navigation routing purposes. “When GPS signals are not available,  the GPS system will not route turn by turn correctly, only a maneuver list can be generated for customers to use as a reference”
4] New search by phone number feature under POI's allows address searches of POI’s by simply entering phone numbers, instead of complete addresses by City and street names.
 5] New Zip code search feature allows search of any address via zip code if a user is uncertain what City, or County, the address exists. This is helpful in a situation where as the mailing address to a certain address does not reflect the city the address resides.
6] Slightly improved routing algorithm from 4.0.0.17 for safer routing.
 7] New search feature for the State the customer is in. This feature eliminates clutter of additional street names and POI information from other States for faster POI and address search input, because the information is limited only to the State customer is in.
8] Automatic State switching; when a user is in another State the unit will automatically switch to the State the user is in for POI and address search information options.
9] Better GPS acquisition performance with the NEW improved GPS firmware HN11. This firmware upgrade is to be used only with the enhanced Magellan GPS 12 channel receiver that is WAAS enabled. GPS icon is now blue when WAAS signal is available.
10] Product demonstration now reflects the optional remote control option features for the Auto Nav Mars or Jupiter package
 11] Version 4.3.3.12 also comes with a Maximum Speed Record feature in the Trip Computer.
What does this do? It will allow an employer to know how fast an employee has driven on a given day or for those who wish to hold speed records out in the desert, it can record the maximum speed acheived via GPS for accountability.
